James
Everyone watch the eagle that’s flies
Look at its beautiful symmetry
Oh so beautiful, and oh so wise
It dances and it speaks to me
Blond feathers tickle my cheeks
Oh lord
Blond feathers tickle my cheek
And those blues eyes look oh so wise
Oh lord it speaks to me
Tell a story of a land, oh eagle
Tell me where you have been.
Tell me where the mountains are born
And in what seas the monsters swim
Tell me a gentle story, oh eagle
Tell me one of the night.
Tell me how you’ve soared through the skies
When the moon was full and bright.
Land next to the one you love sweet eagle
Land next to what you have been
We are brothers and sisters you and I
Practically next of kin
Remember when your hair was blond and yellow and soft
And your eyes were mellow and bright
When those orbs looked at me, adoringly
As mine snapped shut for the night
Remember when we sang and danced together
Don’t you remember at all?
Remember when I had something flirty to wear
And you chased me down the hall
I love you, I love you, I love you my dear
But you flew to close to the sun
You could not see god in your true form
And so transformed into another one
