Late for Fate
Head held high
Back stiff
And straight.
I decided to
Ignore
My fate.
Confident and bold
I remembered
To stride.
Thinking
I have to take
Pride.
That was
My false outside
Getting through
The day.
If only people knew,
They would get out
Of my way.
I am a ticking time bomb,
Scattered
At my best.
They all think
They know me,
And could assume
The rest.
No one knew
Where I was going-
Right then
Right there.
What with my confident
Outside,
And the things
I would never
Dare to share.
Where was I going
To try
To ignore
My fate?
Why I was going
To embrace it,
Where else?
I only hope
I am
Not late.
