Remebering with Dread
I remember the day
So very well
I wish I could go Back
I even remember the smell
But those days have past
Like the leaves they are dead
And yet the spring
Leaves me with dread
I hope you are happy
It was my choice I know
The pieces of my heart
Are seeds to sow
But at the end of the day
When I am alone
I feel my heart ache
Though it has turned to stone
