Lost in Love
When you touch me my worries melt away
Your touch so soft my heart would sway
And you would brush aside my hair
And whisper gently in my ear
That nothing could break our love
Because it was a gift from above
You would look into my eyes
And say they reminded you of blue skies
I lay on the bed a tear escaping my eye
Trying hard not to cry
I thought our love would always last
I never thought it would become a thing of the past
My love I will never forget
How we watched the sunset
We sat on top of a hill
And you kissed me and time stood still
Nobody else was here
Except for the moment we had to share
I made an album of us together
Our memories preserved in photos forever
We looked through it, our spirits so high
But now when I look through it I start to cry
A tear slides down my cheek
My heart suddenly becomes weak
I picture our hands slipping away
Us going our separate ways
I wish I could have kissed you one last time
Before you stopped being mine
