The Nights Spent Below
Feel my pain
The sheer disdain
For the ones that built me
That made me me
The ones that inhabit
The holes of the rabbit
Some nights I go down
Others I stay above ground
Expecting Wonderland
A potion on a stand
To help me shrink
And morph the way I think
Change this strange room
Speak to a high worm on the shroom
Enjoy my tea party
With the hatter that is not mindful nor hearty
And the red queen
Could never be more mean
Then to build a house out of cards
And expect the house to recite the bards
The house feels my pain
Shares the same disdain
For the power that built them
That forces the hymn
"One night I went down
Now wishing I had stayed above ground"
