Melt Me
My heart drips waxy, candle lit,
kindled by your jaunting eyes;
flame dancing in an endless flit,
and burning blue, melts in disguise.
Smothered in a drippy mess,
the fire sputters in the dark;
sacred flames to wax, caress,
collecting in a puddled art.
I'm lying in a liquid state,
lathered before your oblivious feet;
worried not by my absent shape,
and thawed in the way you greet.
This feeling boils and burns within,
yet I crave you to melt me once again.
