"Nobody can hurt me without my permission"- Mahatma Gandhi

There was a girl who had a dream,
to climb upon the stage,
and dance until her heart's content.
She danced at a young age.

She started training for some years,
for many days and nights.
She pranced until she could not breathe.
She strutted in her tights.

Alas! The day was near for her,
to put on her best show.
But someone had been watching her,
and little did she know.

Her rival had an evil plan,
destroying the girl's dreams.
He slyly stuck out his left foot.
He heard his rival's screams.

The girl and her dreams were destroyed.
She was hurt badly now.
The pained girl could not walk at all.
She could not take a bow.

This is the poor girl's story's end.
She never danced again.
Her soul was empty, lacking dance.
She lost her passion then.
