The Guy With The Green Streak in His Hair
The guy with the green streak in his hair
I can’t help but stare
Hello, Mr. Green Streak
Please don’t think I’m a freak
I live in the Midwest
Where people were coats and boots and vests
Every day is a test
But only the best
Have a flair when they wear dyed hair
So unique, I cannot speak
It’s not something you see all day
Every day
No way
No chance
Wanna dance, Mr. Green Streak?
I like your pants, Mr. Green Streak
They’re green too
And so are you
‘Tis the color of love and healing and feeling
And nurture and nature-lovin’ and yet still
Above in the cold, gray, no-way small-town
I have found for eight years going on nine
I will make you mine
Let’s get out of Café Hey
Let’s go out to the bay
Let’s go out some way
Anyway
Somewhere
Anywhere
I don’t care
Let’s take a cab
I’ll pay the fare

This is the only poem I've ever created that was this catchy. If you read it out loud, it sounds like song lyrics ;)
