Wild Grasses
The bush shakes its head and its long, golden hair
Grasses are blown by the breath of the air
Regal are they, in their leafy, green throne
Embracing the sky and the beauty unknown.
Like fluttering petals they seem in the breeze
They bend and they twirl with elegant ease
As feathers so tremble on back of a bird
Do these grasses quiver and point heavenward
