If Roses are Red
If roses are red, and violets are blue,
out of all flowers, why did we choose,
that roses are red, and violets are blue,
it's always the old, and never the new,
what if pansies were purple, and lilies were pink,
but, stating that, does make you think,
that if roses weren't red,
and if violets weren't blue,
I would be saying this poem to you.

This poem was just for fun and I hope it will make people laugh! Though I do want to know how we came up with such a weird way to start poems, and what made it so famous that people still use it!
