Love and Lockets

Why can't love be as simple,
as a picture in a locket,
it's like you've got part of the person hidden in your pocket
Why can't you be given a locket,
that will show you your fate,
so you don't have to try and try to find your great soulmate,
but I guess you lose the adventure,
of finding the one and only,
yet on the other hand,
no one would end up lonely,
but where'd we get the lockets,
the materials and pics,
it's just another problem,
for all of us to fix.

I truly think life would be so much easier if you could know, but I guess easier isn't always fun, I mean if you didn't like your future, could you change, doubtful. Plus we would have to invent time travel first. I still think many people can relate to the, do I like this person, does he/she like me back?
