Orange Grove Ave.
We live in a house of broken dreams
Filled with charred walls and broken glass.
Dirt, rubble, and dust inside the beams,
Seems our house will fall fast.
We live in a house of broken hearts
Where the neighbors shout, argue, and lie;
And wild dogs rip each other apart
While we sit here, tears in our eyes.
We live in a house of broken memories,
This house has been long forgotten.
It was left for decades, centuries
To become spoiled and rotten.
We lived in a house in need of repair
Which was filled with woe and sorrow.
But some of this house was left to spare
So it can see another tomorrow.

This house is not my house by the way. I just had the feeling to create a poem of a broken house where everyone feels broken so this came along. Enjoy.
