Sin
Tell me why the sun sets at night,
Why everything I love must die.
The winds push me to the edge.
I have nothing but this broken pledge,
"I promise to keep on fighting."
So you may on day devour me with biting.
These bruises may never heal,
But my lips are always sealed.
A world in my mind,
Torn away by the kind.
Listen to my heart,
Before it tears me apart.
A broken daughter's wings,
Ripped apart by kings.
Let me in.
I will forever bear the sin.
