My Mind is Stronger
I’m sorry-
My mind is stronger than my body,
And so unhinged
Were my limbs,
My mind
like an airport
with a cancelled flight,
A flailing, but paralyzed kite,
An eerie silence dominated over the defeating thunder.
A flutter of the lips,
That once did breathe
Life into my own,
Tingled the outside of my earlobes.
“I love you, you can do it, come on, move.”
A salty burn, the searing of my actions,
A liquid equal and opposite reaction.
A neuron travels, utmost importance battles,
-but titter tatter freeze,
That’s all I have left in me.
