Money - A slow poison
'Twas a night in christmas near
All the world waits for santa dear
but my eyes for a business
nay like you, as mine a sickness.
My Mind wondering over past
life's on bed of roses going fast
with twins and my beauty around
Sweet home and happiness surround.
All of a sudden a thunderous blast
lust and greed hath me outcast
nay reason for mine thought
but as virus it caught.
Till day neither a twin nor beauty
but mine greeds works as duty
'Why'st mine hold over this greed? 'I cried
no response only tears dried.
Now it's a decade's christmas
nay happiness 'twas once, only business
still my mind a hutch dog for money
but life's become a story-funny.
