Simple Butterflies
Little boys
Sometimes crush beautiful, fragile things-
Like butterflies and laugh, they do,
A sadist’s mind, normal in most of our minds
And how we do act surprised when they are cold,
Ripping our hearts, and killing those who killed then inside
Maybe because that butterfly’s pain
Travelled to them
And lingered inside,
And so innocence is punished,
It is insane to help someone who has only hurt you,
But still stays a sample few,
Indeed,
What are you?
