Broken Angels
In the corners
Of the gossiping circles,
A quadriateral paradox,
How can I laugh when I reckon
The reason for my own recollection?
I am aware
Of their in moving, curious stares-
They are always there,
Yet I cannot
Being myself to stare,
For tgere are crisp, blackened wings,
Broken angels
That will never once again sing.
