Shadows
Moonlight
Brings me happiness but you don’t know why
In the darkness I can learn how to hide
Daybreak
Exposes shadows independent of the sky
You say you love me
But the voices tell me when you lie
Do you like the way the sun sets
It sets so low
I want to take you to a mountain so high
And push you over while you reach for the sky
I hear voices
When I’m around you
But I don’t fight it
They teach me how to feel so good
Do you like the way you make me feel
I feel so low
Why do you insist on wasting my time
Do you like the way you drive me crazy
Crazy like the wild blue sea
You want to help me
But truth and honesty is everything to me
And you don’t know what it means
In my dreams
The shadows have been coming to life
I see you in them
Don’t go to sleep
They’ll drive you right out of your mind
So don’t you close your eyes
