My Daughter’s Sunflower
Another day in the garden you see a shadow figure deciding whether to pick a gorgeous tall thin rose or a unattractive large sunflower.
The figure says “eh I don't like sunflowers there too big”.
I say “hey do you prefer a rose that has thorns or a sunflower with no thorns”.
Still picks the rose, while i grow taller with more petals everyday.
The rose’s thorn are poking and cause the figure to bleed.
The sunflower keeps growing taller and with more petals everyday.
The sunflower now knows to stay anyways from mysterious figures knowing they will tear the petals away.I tell my future bud to grow beautiful because us sunflowers will be more noticeable for just being a sunflower.
In the end I find myself hand pick from a gentle gardener. The gloves were soft and warm. I was then put in a gorgeous vase which provides water so I can keep living. I hope my young bud will find her vase and a gardener as well to care for her.
