If it were to all come to an end

Would you be happy?

Would you even realize it’s over

Would you care that it’s done

If you knew it were to finish

What would you do

Would you tell that special person

Just how special they truly are

Or just watch a movie

Perhaps a funny cat video

Just to make time go faster

If it were to all come to an end

Would you start a fight

Knowing it would never end

Would you try to make your legacy known

Even though no one else would know

What would you do if there was no heaven

There was no hell so I’ll ask

What would you do with your remaining time

Would you kill someone

Finally take out all that anger

Or would you write a novel

Get rid of all those thoughts

Or simply mourn for your life and others’

Get rid of all of those tears

Would you scream into the void

Would you take everything you’ve ever wanted

Simply because you can

What would you do

If it all came to an end

Would you be happy or would you be angry

Perhaps you would be sad

But in the end

Does it ever really matter?
