“Keep your head up, your crown is falling”
You made me your princess
In a beautiful lace gown
Jeweled tiara upon my head
Set me up to be
A damsel in distress
Opened the gate for greatness
Had me enchanted
With your whimsical lies
Pressured by society
To keep the castle doors closed
To be the scared little girl locked away
Day after day
But I had become a queen
“A phoenix from the ashes”
Reborn with an untouchable crown
