A heart beats
Never stops
Pumping and pumping
Keeping your body going
Giving you oxygen
It beats
And beats for years
The same pattern
Same rhythm
Don't you think it gets tired
Wants to give up
Wants to take a break
Just for a second
But It pumps on
Until one day
It just stops
Too tired to continue
Becoming just another person
Barely remembered
Deep in the ground
Waiting for the day your sweet spirit will arise from the ashes
