Thorns MAG
Love is real
You and someone else
Love without thinking
Wake up every morning happy because of love
Not having one worry
Having your best friend by your side
Love is beauty, beauty is desire
Adoration brings out the real you
that was in hiding
You stay up at night wondering
How you got so lucky
You found someone worth spending life with
Being at work
Or school
And that person just pops in your head
The kind of “Pop!”
That makes you smile stupidly to yourself
People ask “why are you smiling”
But then going so good with someone
for so long
Just to lose each other
The hurt feels like being stung by hundreds of wasps
The kind of hurt that keeps you up crying
Wondering
“What did I do to make it go down hill?”
Up all night blaming yourself
You feel it past your ribs to your heart
Your heart aches
Where you go from “Why are you smiling?”
To “Why do you look so sad”
The type of hurt where you wish you could
Just go back to sleep
Shut out the whole world
Pray to God that it’ll get better
