Joyful music fills the souls,

Christmas lights hang on poles.

Kids play in the snow,

Running around to and fro.

It’s the time of year when people cheer,

For the coming of Jesus Christ is near.

Everyone is counting down the days,

For they cannot wait to celebrate this holiday.

Let us not forget what Christmas is for,

It’s not all about gifts galore.

It’s about Jesus and what he was sent to do,

Set a good example for us to look up to.

Help others in need,

And give in return what you receive.

Be thankful, be kind,

Be the one to spread love throughout humankind.

For God so loved us He sent his only son,

So that one day we could learn from all the sin that’s been done.

As the year goes on, Christmas is the most important yet,

For without Jesus we would all have a different mindset.
