The Trees' End
The trees
Havent moved
Not that I've seen
They're there forever
It seems
Until they're not
Until they die
Or they're cut down
When time finally wins
And they can fight existence no longer
The trees aren't there forever
They will be gone
And the ground will be bare again
Just like before they claimed it
I am like the trees
It seems
That I'll be conscious forever
The end is an unfathomable concept
But it will come
When I will die
Or I'm cut down
When time finally wins
And I can fight existence no longer
I won't be here forever
I will be gone
My legacy will dissapear
And this house won't whisper my name
Just like before I claimed it.
Just like the trees,
I am a perishable item.
