When the Night Has Left MAG
I've sunk a thousand ships
All miniature dreams to me
They rot in the midnight oil
In the underground brains of the ocean
They'll become little tinker toys
Talking to each other in the night
They wait in the depths of a maroon planet
That will never notice they were gone
People will walk above the surface
Their blue sky light eyes and careless wonders
They will sit like little china dolls
And have dinner without thought of what's below them
And I, like a star's name forgotten,
Will be the underworld's guardian
Where the ocean meets its lower half
Because I was also a sunken dream
Who drifted away when the night left
