I feel light on my feet
As I take the long route home
I just want to be
In the here and now
Friday night is beautiful
As the gentle breeze mixes with the relaxing air
Headphones are out, play is hit
Molecules move around in my ears
In just the right way.
Frowning face and throbbing head
A dark cloud hovers above me
I try to blow it away
But no, it won’t budge
It’s been a long day
And it just seems to be getting longer
