Sand Dunes

Hot sand stands tall as a skyscraper.
The midnight blue
water surrounds the sand dunes.
Birds sound like an opera singer.
As I climb I can hear the boat motors churning.
The winds whistling
and blowing my hair.
My foot hits every footprint
in the sand until I reach the top,
Observing a view as beautiful as a Da Vinci painting.
