&ldquo; In three words I can sum up everything I&#039;ve learned about life: it goes on.&rdquo; <br /> ― Robert Frost

I see the pain fill your eyes and overflow,

Streaking your face like a canvas.

Your thoughts tell a story that I only know.

Your bloodstained hands pick up the shards,

A broken heart leaves such a mess sometimes.

I can only wonder when you’ll guard your heart.

You take to your notebook, your pen in hand,

Leaving your thoughts in the form of stanzas.

I wonder when I’ll finally understand, that

I

Am

You.

Well, it’s open to interpretation... I picked the image to go with this because my wish hasn’t come true.

Aww! Thanks! I’m really glad you love it. I always write something like it will be the last thing I ever write. I find that to be helpful when I struggle. Thank you for reading and commenting!

It's interesting to interpret this, but maybe I'll try...well, someone broke your heart, and you're probably still trying to recover from that, and maybe you take out your sorrow and pain in the form of words a beautiful poetry like this. Beyond that it's hard to say....especially the final part. No matter what, I really love this, and like all of your work, it's amazing, Sophia.
