Frozen Monster
Winter weather is a monster
It’s frozen, dead hands taking hold of us
Suffocating us
Little by little
Piece by piece
We are frigid and alone
There is not an escape
No safe haven to dash to
No place to hide
This monster has us in its claws
Right where it wants us
Winter season has approached yet again
But when the end of the season draws near
The monster will leave
Going back to its frozen cave of solitude
Patiently waiting for next year
When it will torment people once again
Winter weather will always be a monster
