The Black Cat
Oh how i hated that black cat
the one that was always on my mat.
It would go in my yard to watch and look
as I'd walkin the kitchen and start to cook.
It'd purr and meow and scratch all day
wanting me to go out and play.
I thought I'd need to run and hide
hoping It'd think I wasn't inside.
But the cat was very smart you see,
and it would hide up in a tree.
Sometimes I'd look into it's yellow eyes
to find that ive been hyptotized.
But i have won this time for sure.
I wont suffer through one more purr
for this time ive done something new
and put that black cat in my stew.
