A scrape across the floor
Another twitch
A fluttering of wings
Smash into a window
A drop of blood
The corpse of a bird squeaks down the window
Gets snatched up
Tick, Tock, Twitch
A bite out of the head
Tick, Tock, Twitch
No tears shed
No remorse felt
All are happy
All are well
All except the bird
