Alone,
Lost in the world.
Not even Darkness
Calls me friend.
Fading away
Like an ancient child's mural
Painted on a wall
Of some abandoned school.
I am but a spectre
Invisible to all, but myself.
Lost among innumerable
Living souls.
Not one like me.
Am I Atlantis,
Lost to the waves?
Or El Dorado
Lost to time?
Or am I nothing,
Not lost, yet never to be found?
