gas-filled bubble

where are we exactly
but a piece of solid rock, spinning
around an orb of fire, burning
we're just in a gas-filled bubble
like the entirety of history
all victories and all desparation — ever
all periods of time — ever
each life, each death — ever
each person, each heart, each soul
but i found you, you
next to me
in this planetary bubble
you hold my hand, i hold yours
i want this to last — forever.
