Nails down the hall

A golden furball

Red ribbon tied

Neatly in a bow

Like a collar

His ears and paws

To big for his body

He tumbles into me

I scoop him up

He nuzzles my neck

Then nips my ear

I know I should

Correct his behavior

But he's too cute

Now he is bigger

Naughtier

we drove to the shelter
