that girl that used to
call me for hours
and spill all her secrets
like i was her friend
and share candy with me
while screaming with horror
in a dark lit movie theater
began to resent me
when i walked past her
"I hope she dies" echoed in the halls
of whispers
that i didn't even recognize
coming from a pride contorted face
screaming
stranger
