There, heat suffocates my nostrils when
I embrace your body with my arms,
Holding you close to my battered heart hoping
You won't leave my soul that’s
Torn and ripped with my bare
Naked chest standing still as
The hairs point out and I remember
The sharp claws screeching open the flesh that
Stood exposed and vulnerable to her
To him to her to him and to her.
Abandoned like dust shriveling in
The storm approaching me.
The winds blow stronger than the sound
Of the silent cries echoing through the chambers
Held stationary to confine the happiness
within your love
