Home coming
Aesthetic concentric circles
Black
Shades of every dark
Fleckas of spirit dust down
Down to- hmmmm that's low
Overboard
Push them off the bleachers
or-
smile along
break out a move or two
welcome
to the flow
here, we concede
we precede
and- oopsy
my shirt slipped
sharp smiles; fleeting glances
colored bottles. Take a sip?
That's your ticket to join
us- a sea of mad eyes that stare down tied together by pride, mixing your clean air with the foul smell of aroused "fans" that want nothing more that to tear and rip with their teeth the few brave that came to THEIR game
us- I'm hungry, head to the concessions stand with me, is the sky getting dark? Don't mind that, you chose to come here. be here. Why can't you be here? It's just a game, geez, lighten up.
us- every thought that's badgered you, hit you, nailed, swung, itched, burned, winked, crushed you, scalped individual bits of flesh-
US- US WHO CHEER BECAUSE THE PLAYER FROM THE OTHER TEAM IS OF ON A
WEEE-OOOO-EEEE-OOO
AND HE'S NOT COMING BACK!
we push shove- you are surronded! feel the love! we love love love every last
part
of you.
Except-
exceptthis is you-
the blank canvas that got caught on the edge of the tides
and the waves carried her deep and into the tail of the current,
carried on the edge
and for the first time
in a cold life
you are at the edge
welcome
to the flow
you can join us
you're already whispering
someone take advantage of me
pull me along
temptations an old song
singing ~pull me along~
but for you it's always been too slippery
and you so desperatley want to hold on
its just water
it may spit me out again, onto the rocks, but-
the farther i go will i get to the middle of the tide?
you decide
