Urge MAG
Each time I hear the music,
All stringed music,
Well,
Not the drippy drippy harp,
But the Fiddle and the Cello,
The Violin and Viola.
I get a sudden feeling,
I get a sudden urge
To grasp the neck so gently,
So strongly,
To curl my fingers about the bow,
To rest my chin upon it,
To let the music flow,
To feel its vibrations,
All up and down my back.
But then all of a sudden,
I remember what I did,
I said “no more,”
And turned my back
On the music that was within.
And so now when I hear the music,
I get a sudden urge,
A need,
An ache in my muscles
To pick it up again
