A Young Boy
I was young and small
It was a bright sunny day
Sun reflected off this giant slide,
I was tempted to climb it but I was scared
I went back everytime I could to build the courage,
I climbed it,
I was so nervous because it was so high off the ground.
The happiness after climbing it was crazy,
I was so proud of myself,
I saw the slide again,
I realized, it is only like 7 feet tall

I wrote about a slide at a park near my grandmas house. She lives far away so I only went to her house a few times a year. Each time I went to her house, I would go to this park, each time I saw this slide. WHen I was young and went this slide looked huge, but slowly as I grew up, it started to look a lot less big and scary. I used to think it was the biggest thing in the world, now it's only like, a foot taller than me.
