My Family, Frown, Blue, and Night
My Family
My family is always beside me
Whenever we’re close or far
They never doubted who I can be
Or who I am deep down
They’re my hope
My joy
And who I strive to please day after day
Frown
A long time ago
We would laugh and play
Now we don’t even say hello
And I feel all gray
You always look down
And I never know what to say
It seems all I know how to do is frown
I wish I wouldn’t feel this way
I wish you would talk to me
I wish I was brave
I hope you agree
I hope I don’t have to take this down to my grave
Blue
Blue is the color of the sky
Blue is the sound of ocean waves
Blue is the taste of a sweet blueberry
Blue is as beautiful as a butterfly
Blue smells like fresh blooming flowers on a breezy day
Blue makes me feel happy
Blue is bright and colorful
Blue is the sound of rain
Blue is like the tears on my face
Blue makes me feels sad
Blue is filled with darkness
Night
Silence spread
Children sleeping in their bed
Flowers close
Wind blows
Dreams fill our head
Cold rocks on a riverbed
Dark skies
Closed eyes
Bright stars
Parked cars
Things left unsaid
Morning ahead
