I lay in my bed,

With fear and dread.

My thoughts consumed

By the voices inside. 


I sink into my pillow,

Descending deeper into my dreams

Letting them consume me.


Oh, how I wish

I was sitting under a tree

In the wind,

Sunlight bouncing off of

My rosy cheeks.


I sit

And wonder,

As I fall back asleep.
