A story people would pay to see
They plant the seed in our minds,
“This could be you”
Maybe in another life
Fairytales baiting
Hopeless romantics
Who want love, passion, and glory
Success, adventure, happiness
Who will always expect
Life to roll out
Like a picture perfect movie
They’d always dreamed about
I’ve always wanted it,
That feeling, that idea
That you are a part of something
Something greater
A larger cause
A deeper meaning
A sense of belonging
Like it was meant to be
You were destined to be here
Destined, to do something monumental
To be someone notable
But in the end,
I am insignificant
I am but a small letter in a never-ending book
An infinite tale
In which I matter not.
