I sit in the corner of your eye

You only notice me when I am dying or in need of thirst

You care for me

You share your love with me

For I am not moving often

The wind may take me

But I am still stuck in the spot where you put me

You walk over to me

With the pot that gives me life

The cold water seeps down to my roots

Every bit of soil that covers me is wet and fitt with nutrients

I am quenched of my thirst

You care for me

I may never know what your fear

It may be the spiders that crawl near me or nest on me

Mine fear will that I would lose you

I would shrivel up and leave you

How could I bear that pain

For when the sky pulls the dark blanket of the sun

It is night

The sun does not reach me during then

I may be cold, but I see you from the corner

You get to wrap your self in warmth

But I shiver in the dark night’s blanket

I only have to wait a few more hours

The sun’s rays grace me and I grow

I prosper, I illuminate

Maybe I am the only love of your life

For do not know

For all I see is the corners of your room

Think about what your object in your home or life might be feeling. I have a plant of my own and it lives in the corner of my room.
