It's not a feeling

It's a void

 Emotion stealing

Emotions destroyed

A simplistic beauty

Of which none adore

The shipwrecking Siren

Calling all to shore

It's pain even misery

It can be more

It can bliss and serenity

The calm with no storm

The waves overtake me

With their ups and downs

With one eternal promise

I’m hell bound

I’m not hurt I’m broken

Dented and bruised

I’ve got my token

For the ferryman's cruise

Ignorance is bliss

Or so I’ve been told

It's the old me I miss

Lost many years ago

The author's comments:

This, like many of my other poems came from a dark place. My mindset put in words
