Dreams Hurt
Empty promises whispered
In the dead of a tear filled night
Dreams kill
Lies masquerading as hope
To steal every ounce of it
But I'm a dreamer
And I love those knives
Those glorified, invisible knives
That I cut my heart out with
Dreams hurt.
