The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.
--me

Rising to space

Rising to planets unknown—

Rising to heat lightning and grace

Rising like a queen bee to her honeyed throne

It is a deep and sticky summer night

My heart is burning violets

Clear and bright

I want to be near someone

I want to play a keyboard

In a room of pink balloons and crystal snow

I want the fireflies to open my window

Making for you

A glorious show.

Like a tired dolphin

I am slipping under

My flowered bedspread

Into a summer of wonder.

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

the final line was cool, sort of burned itself into your mind
