"Every secret of a writer's soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written large in his works." Virginia Wolf

Life is confusing,
Full of promises,
Yet full of lies.
It is cruel,
But it can be beautiful.
For me,
I see no beauty,
No light.
Shadows lurk,
Around every corner,
Whispering to me.
They say give it up,
You are nothing,
Cry they shout,
Cry girl cry.

Life is a boomerang. It's up to you whether this intimidates you or empowers you.

God this is the best piece of work I've read in a while! I relate to it so much

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

ok, great, i was worried i might have offended you.

is it wrong to feel powerful because i can kill a bug with my finger? and is it more wrong or stupid?

I'm fine, I was going to tell you that me and Lydiaq are going to start co-writing now but yeah I'm good, I'll miss co-writing with you but I agree, don't take on more than you can handle.

Yeah, I feel your pain, I have the same issue, I'm actually diagnosed with depression and anxiety.

The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.

Poetry is poor man's therapy, it has always done me well. I have always vaguely felt that I have mental issues, even though I've never seen a therapist, and everyone talks about how normal I am (not true!) Yes, I started having anxiety and panic and depression at nine, made worse by the fact that I never felt I could talk about it. I would never talk to a counselor even if I had one, because I feel that they would just tell it to my parents. And I have terrifying existential moments where everything seems like a lie. Sorry if I am gushing, I am have never really told this, except hinting.
