A Story about Noone
Under the pale blue sky
I pale in turn
The flapping sail of my life
Shuddering weakly
The wind swinging, its
fabric meekly hanging on
like the final chattering
Of teeth and bones
Before I am lost to
The infinite
Torn and tattered sea
Air escapes my lungs
Butterflies from a cage
A page of this story
that feels like its last.
An eternity within minutes
seems to pass
before the page
is finally turned.

I was inspired to make this piece by the idea that one someone is gone, the world continues to move all the same, and yet our lives continue to effect the world, no matter how little.
