Part 1:

Does knowing

Leave a bitter taste in your mouth?

It’s so easy

To persuade yourself

When you don’t

Know, isn’t it?

Now your only way out

Of this hell

This hell is to

Teach you, yourself

How to repent, and how to act

You remain a prisoner until your sentence ends,

And your sentence begins

When you admit it was your

fault

Fixing it isn’t the last step,

But trying will be a start.

Forget everything you’ve told yourself until you understand.

Forget everything, because

You lied.

Part 2:

You climbed out of this hole. Now what?

No, don’t bury it. You’ll just fall in again.

See these footprints? Follow them.

No, they aren’t yours, at least

not yet.

You see these pits around you?

There are people inside. Help them out.

Don’t even touch that rope. The devils put it there.

If you pull them out, they’ll just fall in again.

Teach them how to climb out.

Tell them how you did it, but

None of these pits are the same;

Each of these cells have their own key.

Teach them how to climb out. They don’t need a fishing pole to do that.

If the path to hell is paved with good intentions, my path is paved with rainbow-shooting flamethrowers.
